Can you clean a Persian rug at my home?
Often, yes. After the dye test we decide whether it can be cleaned on site. If a rug is not safe to wet-clean, we tell you before we start.
Will the colors run?
That is exactly what the dye test is for. If a color bleeds on the test cloth, we use a method that does not risk it.
How often should I clean an area rug?
Every 12 to 24 months for most rooms, more often in entryways and homes with pets.
Can you remove pet urine from a wool rug?
Often, but urine can permanently change wool dyes. We will check and tell you honestly what to expect before treating it.
Do you clean rugs and carpet together?
Yes. Many customers book both on one visit.
How long does a rug take to dry?
Usually a few hours. Thin synthetic and flat-weave rugs dry fastest, thick wool rugs take longer. We set up airflow before we leave and tell you when it is safe to walk on the rug and put furniture back.
