Great service! Fast and efficient. Showed up on time and left everything looking spotless — would definitely use again.
I shopped around for a couple hours and these guys showed up same day and took care of my living room carpet and couch! They are very professional and have excellent pricing. Highly recommend.
Why dye testing comes first
Dye testing comes first because color loss cannot be undone. Some dyes, especially in hand-knotted wool rugs, bleed when they meet water and cleaning solution. A small test on an inconspicuous corner shows whether the colors stay put before the whole rug is touched. Skipping that step risks a rug with blurred patterns and bleeding borders.
Wool and synthetic rugs ask for different care. Wool hides soil well and cleans up nicely, but it needs a wool-safe method and careful drying because it holds water longer. Synthetic rugs, such as polypropylene and nylon, handle stronger cleaning and usually come out looking close to new. The inspection sorts out which one we are working with so the method matches the fiber.
Some rugs are not safe to wet-clean on site. An unstable dye test, a fragile backing or damage that water would make worse means we stop and say so before starting. In that case we explain the options instead of cleaning a rug we cannot clean safely. An honest answer at the inspection is better than a damaged rug at the end of the night.
Questions
Can you clean large lobby rugs on site?
Usually yes, after a dye test and inspection.
Do you clean wool rugs?
Yes, with a wool-safe method.
Can it be done overnight?
Yes, most commercial rug jobs are after hours.
Why would a lobby rug not be safe to wet-clean on site?
Unstable dyes, a weak backing or existing damage get worse with water. We test first and will tell you before starting if the rug needs another approach.
Do wool rugs take longer to dry than synthetic ones?
Yes. Wool holds more water, so it needs more drying time. We plan so the rug is dry and back in place before the space opens.
