Carpet stain removal for the ones you have given up on
Coffee, wine, rust, ink, makeup and mystery spots. Each stain gets the chemistry that suits it, not one spray for everything.

Why some stains will not come out with store products
Most home spot cleaners are soap. They lift a little color and leave residue that grabs more dirt.
The wrong chemistry
Coffee needs a different treatment than wine, rust or ink.
Residue left behind
Soap left in the carpet attracts new dirt, so the spot comes back darker.
Heat sets stains
Hot water or steam on some stains makes them permanent.
How we remove a stain
Identify, test, treat, rinse.
Identify
We figure out what the stain is and how long it has been there.
Test
We test the treatment on the carpet first.
Treat
A stain-specific product breaks it down.
Rinse and extract
Everything comes out so nothing is left to wick back up.
Stain guide
What we usually see, and what to expect.
| Stain | Usually removable? | What helps before we arrive |
|---|---|---|
| Coffee and tea | Yes, in most cases | Blot with cool water, do not scrub |
| Red wine | Often, if treated early | Blot, then a little cool water |
| Pet urine | Often, with odor treatment | Blot up as much as you can |
| Rust | Yes, with a rust remover | Leave it, do not use bleach |
| Ink and makeup | Often | Do not add water, it can spread |
| Bleach spots | No, that is color loss | Ask about color repair |
Bleach spots and dye loss are not stains, they are missing color. Those need a color repair, not cleaning.

Stain removal questions
Can you remove old stains?
Often, yes. Older stains take more work and some only lighten. We tell you before we start.
What should I do right after a spill?
Blot with a white towel and cool water. Do not rub, and do not use colored towels or bleach.
Can you remove red wine from carpet?
Usually, especially if it has not been treated with soap or heat. Call us soon after it happens.
Will a stain come back after you clean it?
Not if it is rinsed properly. Stains come back when residue is left in the carpet and wicks back up as it dries.
Can you fix bleach spots?
Bleach removes color, so cleaning will not bring it back. Ask us about it when you call.
